Welcome...

...to Choices Alternative High School, a truly innovative school that is serving the distinct needs of older teen and adult learners in our region.

Choices opened in September 2000, with its mission to make it possible for high school dropouts from throughout Stark County to return to school and earn their high school diploma. As we enter our eighth year of serving the Canton area, more than 300 teens and young adults have earned their diplomas!

The challenges and trials that bring students through our doors are many and varied, as are their learning needs. Through project-based learning and individualized learning plans, our dedicated staff works to help each student succeed.  Our flexible class times – morning, afternoon, and evening – meet two to three times a week (just like college) and help make attending Choices possible when work and family commitments exist.

Just as we make a big difference in the lives of the 60 plus students who graduate yearly, we look forward to extending a second chance to many more young adults each day.

If you would like to know more about Choices, please review the information on this web site. And feel free to contact us if we can be of service to you.
